A Nice Place to Visit

Last week, I was fortunate to spend some quality time on our family farm.

My family's dairy farm is nestled just outside of the Adrirondack (Mtns.) Park, in Upstate N. Y.  It has extensive river frontage on the Oswegatchi River and a quaint little creek winding through the land.  The cows could be found cooling off in the creek and staying hydrated on a hot summer's day.

Our 300 acre farm is absolutely breathtaking.  Rolling hills, pasture, several fields of corn, and various hay fields are cultivated for feed.

The town to which it is located in is Edwards, N.Y.

Edwards, with a population of about 1,142, is a quiet little town where everyone knows each other.

Of course, there is no gym for miles and miles.  So, bring your barn boots, resistance (exercise) bands, and plan to power walk.  For afterwards, there is a great little place

for a "post-workout" meal.
