In the news today, vitamin D may be protecting us from the fourth-leading cancer in the world, pancreatic cancer.
Consuming the recommended daily amount of vitamin D could nearly halve your risk for deadly pancreatic cancer, new research suggests.

...There is no known cure or effective treatment, and to date no specific environmental or dietary practices other than smoking have been cited as contributing factors for pancreatic cancer.
Be sure to get your recommended daily allowance (RDA) of 400 IUs each day. Healthy foods such as milk and fish are excellent sources. You may do well to also take supplemental vitamin D, such as that found in Calcium + D vitamins.
