Fish Oil for Weight Loss and Optimal Health

Fats do not make you fat. Excess calories make you fat.
Fat is an essential nutrient that is vital to the optimal functioning of the human body. In particular, omega-3 fatty acids can help reduce high cholesterol, promote weight loss, and reduce incidences of cardiovascular disease.
Recent developments in the study of fish oil found that it reduces the risk of fatal heart rhythm disturbances and can save more lives than cardiac defibrillators. That makes sense, because as you ingest the omega-3 fish oil, you are potentially eliminating, or reducing, the problem and incidences of life-threatening heart arrhythmias.
Fish oil assists with optimal brain functioning, may be used as the new antidepressant, may reverse obesity, prevent arthritis, reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, and fights cancer.
Omega-3 fatty acids, found in certain fish, are like your body's lubricant. They keep you running smoothly by lubricating your joints, hair, skin, and nails.
Several test tube (in vitro) and animal experiments have clearly shown that the long-chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), the main components of fish oil, help inhibit the promotion and progression of cancer. Their beneficial effect is particularly pronounced in hormone-dependent cancers such as breast and prostate cancer.
Omega-3 fatty acids are found in salmon, herring, sardines, mackerel, lake trout, fresh tuna, and Pacific oysters. The American Heart Association recommends eating fatty fish two times each week. You may also consider a fish oil supplement for convenience and ease of use.

Love the omega's. I was putting flax oil in my morning smoother for ages, then suddenly stopped. More like I ran out of it, but it's something I really think is a great tool to keeping things going even if I can't feel it I know it's working. Sometimes it's what you can't see that makes all the difference in the world!
