   Rest assured, they are very nutritious.  Studies from the American Institute for Cancer Research found that these freeze-dried fruits contain almost as much antioxidant phytochemicals as fresh fruit. 

In addition to phytochemicals like ellagic acid, carotenoids and anthocyanins, the whole berry can contain significant amounts of vitamins C, E and folic acid.

   We know that these substances work best when they are found together, in their natural state, as opposed to isolated compounds.
