Saying No to Diets

Seeing that fad diets come and go as waistlines continue to expand may be one of the reasons that people are taking charge of their own nutrition.

People are fed up with taking off the weight only to regain it, others are frustrated by the strictures of popular plans on the market, and then there are those who are just plain confused by the sheer volume of food do's and don'ts.

Ultimately, you are in control of your life and your eating habits.  As you look at your daily food intake and adjust your meal plans to reduce calorie intake, you are taking control of your eating habits.

Take charge by incorporating whole fruits and vegetables, minimal processed foods, and focusing on your health, not body image.  Great health and vitality comes from within the body.  What you look like on the outside is the end result (or product) of your inner health.

Of course, "Ms. Muscles' Cookbook and Targeted Optimal Nutrition Guide" is a key resource to simplified nutrition.

I have been a DIET victim numerous times. I say victim because that's how it feels and that seems to be how you live your life with you're on a diet. I learn so much more about my own body and food/nutrition when I take my own road to fitness. At first it was scary not having a written out plan, somehow I felt like I wouldn't be able to succeed without having the jumbo mumbo from some stranger to follow. But what I found was more mental peace than anything. Next my body will follow---it's taking it's time, but I feel so much better mentally and that's 50% of the whole deal.

Wonderful!  Glad to hear that you feel better.  You are a success as you are happy, positive, and eating foods closest to their natural state.  Weight loss is an end result of a healthy diet and exercise, providing you create an energy deficit.
