Tea Reduces Cortisol

Green tea has several health benefits such as protecting against heart disease, cancer, and excessive tooth plaque.  This powerful beverage also burns body fat, reduces inflammation, skin damage, scarring, and wrinkles.

But, did you know that even black tea is good for you?  A new study, published in the journal Psychopharmacology, found that black tea reduces the stress hormone cortisol to help you relax better and recover more quickly from the stresses of daily life (or a vigorous workout).

Cortisol is also associated with an increase in abdominal fat, another good reason to drink your tea.
