Bald is Beautiful

If you have been shaving your head for reasons of either appearance or sports, you may want to keep it up.  Recent news in the journal Lancet Oncology has reported that the popular antibaldness drug, Propecia, may mask prostate cancer markers.

"It can reduce the values by 50 percent," says Claus Roehrborn, a urologic oncologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and an author of the report.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men, with 543,000 new cases worldwide each year.
