The death of a young woman from water intoxication has been headlining the news.   

   Jennifer Strange left the radio station, suffering severe head pain all the way home, and was reported dead within hours.  Jennifer was part of the station's contest to win a Nintendo Wii video game system and drank nearly two gallons of water, without urinating.

   Incredibly, this young lady had three kids and was doing it for the kids.  The liability waiver said nothing of the possibility of death, there were no medical personnel at the station, and the DJ's thought it all to be a big joke:

"Hey, Carter, is anybody dying in there?"  a DJ asked during the show.  "We got a guy who's just about die," the other responded, and all the DJs laughed.

"I like that we laugh about that," another said.

"Make sure he signs the release...Get the insurance on that, please."

   Other contestants later complained of fatigue, headache, and sleepiness; all signs of water intoxication. 

   Get real.  You can not expect to put things in your body and they just come out the other end.  Everything you put in your body gets broken down, dispersed through the body, absorbed by the cells and organs, and impacts the body in many ways; good or bad.  

   Who ever said that ignorance is bliss was a complete fool.  Ignorance kills.  You are responsible for yourself; trust no one.  Research, read, and educate yourself on everything you do and everything you ingest.
