Can You Say...Drugs???
An internet supplement company posts this offensive blog. While it is true many women are hitting the weights to sculpt their bodies, it is not to look like this monster. This "she-man" looks more like the Incredible Hulk than a fit and healthy lady.
The only thing that blog does is scare women into using their #1 excuse: "I don't want to get big muscles."
Women can not build large muscles, nor can they stay ripped (extremely low body fat) year round. Females do not produce enough testosterone to support that kind of muscle growth.
The only way to accomplish this is with the use of estrogen blockers, more commonly known as anabolic steroids. Women taking these supplements drugs suffer a myriad of adverse health effects including vaginal dryness, premature aging, bone loss, tumors, acne, trembling, facial hair, baldness, deepening of the voice, lack of menstrual cycles, and "the amazing enlarged clitoris." EWE!
Now, is that attractive?
Strangely, the same supplement company posts this new article just days later. In their new post, they discourage steroids by speaking of a past user who suffered a heart attack due to steroid use.
Danny McDermott won titles and trophies, but while he was busy growing big muscles, everything inside him was also growing - including his heart. This condition leads to coronary-artery calcification and heart attack.
In order to discourage teens from using steroids, Danny shows them the scar on his chest from his quadruple bypass and keeps a sculpture of a heart, four times the normal size, in the middle of his table.
Steroids are not always illegal, either. As a matter of fact, they are conveniently found at your local Wal-Mart and other fine department stores. Their use is very common and easy to recognize throughout our local fitness facilities.
Exercise is intended to promote health, longevity, and intelligence. Keep it clean.
