The Fountain of Youth in Disguise

It's your local health club - the gym.

Studies suggest you should kick up your exercise intensity as you get older in order to get the same benefits as a younger person.  With age, we see a decline in the power of the muscle protein AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK); leading to a slower and reduced ability to burn fat for fuel.

You can also expect a decline in DHEA and testosterone, two of the most powerful components of a strong, healthy body.  Remember, use it or lose it!

As you see, you are not just getting older, you're getting weaker.  This is the natural process of the body.

You have one of two options: take the passive approach and allow your body to naturally degrade, slow down, and see diminishing returns.  Or, you can take your workouts to the next level and engage in aggressive, intense, and meaningful workouts.

The latter of the two will ensure a vibrant aging body - GO FOR IT!
