Pepsi to Disclose Caffeine Content

Pepsi cans and bottles will soon disclose the exact amount of caffeine in each serving of their colas.  Other makers of caffeine containing products, such as Coca-Cola and coffee companies, should follow suit.

It is interesting to note that there are significant differences in the caffeine content of such drinks.  Per 8 oz serving; Pepsi has 25 milligrams of caffeine, Diet Pepsi has 24 mg, Pepsi One and Mountain Dew have about 36 mg, and a 16 oz cup of Starbucks coffee packs 260 mg of caffeine.

With the increasing line-up of caffeine containing foods and beverages on the market this information will allow us to tally up our total daily caffeine intake and avoid stimulant overload and addiction.
