Keeping Your Bones Strong

Maintaining your bone health is simple.  Proper exercise, a healthy diet, and getting your allowance of calcium and vitamins D and K will strengthen your bones and reduce your risk of fractures and osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis is a major health threat.  Approximately 10 million Americans have the disease and 34 million have low bone mass, which places them at risk for osteoporosis.

Sufficient calcium intake is critical, yet the absorption of calcium is actually dependent on one's vitamin D and vitamin K intake.

The bone is only well taken care of if the entire team consisting of calcium and both vitamins is active.
I must add that it is not just grandma's problem, either.  Osteoporosis is quite prevalent in men, yet it often goes undiagnosed, unreported, and inadequately researched.

Take steps today to protect your bone health.
