Fight Skin Cancer With Caffeine and Exercise

A new study finds that a combination of exercise and a couple cups of coffee may reduce your risk of skin cancer.
"We need to dig deeper into how the combination of caffeine and exercise is exerting its influence at the cellular and molecular levels, identifying the underlying mechanisms," says researcher Allan Conney, director of Rutgers University's Cullman Laboratory, in a news release.  "With an understanding of these mechanisms we can then take this to the next level, going beyond mice in the lab to human trials."
This is cool because coffee is high in antioxidants, stimulates your metabolism to burn body fat, and may increase your workout intensity to help you achieve your fitness goals faster.
"Americans get more of their antioxidants from coffee than any other dietary source. Nothing else comes close," says study leader Joe Vinson, Ph.D.
So, go ahead and enjoy a "cup of joe" today.
