Cool New Research Reversed the Aging Process in Skin
Check out this new report from MedicineNet showing how much closer scientists are getting to reversing our aging process.
The greatest part about this study is that these guys didn't just stop the aging process, but they actually turned back the hands of time. Researcher Howard Chang, MD, PhD. reported, "Those mice developed younger-looking skin that was about as thick as the skin of a newborn mouse." and referred to it as a "pretty striking reversal to that of the young skin."
Developments such as this may lead to slowing down the aging process of our bodies because it shows aging to be a result of a "continually active genetic program," rather than wear and tear being the culprit. Scientists hope to prove that blocking this mechanism may slow the progression of diseases associated with an aging body.
