Forbidden Foods Assist in Weight Loss

Five of the most forbidden foods should be put back on your table periodically in order to keep you burning fat, gaining muscle tone, and keep you in touch with reality.
CNN.com reports on a few key elements of red meat, ice cream, pizza, eggs, and canadian bacon that make them a strategic part of your diet.
Check it out, 3 oz. of red meat is relatively low in calories, packed with essential B vitamins and creatine, and is a superb source of protein. Canadian bacon is also great for you, full-fat ice cream is best in moderation, one slice of pizza is fine in a social environment if it's packed with veggies instead of greasy meats, and even eggs are wonderful.
As a matter of fact, eggs have such a bad rap for increasing cholesterol that I must point out this has been debunked.
Overweight women who eat egg breakfasts lose twice as much weight as women who start their days with bagels...So you see, foods that are great sources of protein and fat are your best choices for health and fitness. Carbohydrates should be limited to breakfast and post workout to replenish glycogen stores and help rebuild muscles when you're trying to lose weight. Otherwise, choose low glycemic carbs, fruits, vegetables, meats, and other whole foods as your staples.
..."Eggs are a perfect protein source because they have all eight essential amino acids," Grotto says. "And recent research debunks the idea that they have adverse effects on the heart."
Oh, and remember to have a cheat meal at least once or twice a week. Everyone needs time to relax, have a drink or two and enjoy foods you wouldn't normally have on a diet to reboot your body and soul.
Cheers!
