No Gym, Never a Problem

When it comes to exercise, you only get out of it what you put into it and your exercise intensity will define your success. In other words, the more intense the exercise, the more response your body will have to it.

I am very pleased that one of my (awesome) clients took after my old habits of lugging my kids around in a little red wagon for some hard-core cardio. She ran for miles, her son in the wagon having a fantastic time and her dog (that ran alongside) had a great workout, too. Great work B.V.

Though not quite as demanding as this video from RossTraining.com, the kids in the wagon thing can get pretty heavy duty as you continually run up and down hills hour after hour. Of course, that is how I lost my fat ass.

Remember, not having the luxury of a gym membership is not a problem.  We simply improvise, adapt, and overcome, because if you really have a goal then nothing can stand in your way.

Anyways, this is all to say that exercise doesn't have to be running on a boring treadmill or lifting the same old dumbbells. It simply means to exert your body or to use bodily exertion to keep the organs and their functions in a healthy state; or it is also any hygienic activity.

Almost anything can be deemed exercise from dancing, to cleaning the house, or waterskiing, they all use muscles and burn calories. Just check out this calorie expenditure guide and see how many calories you are burning throughout your day.

I love it!
