The Next Superfood - Celery

I usually recommend celery along with other high fibrous foods that are crunchy and hard to chew, especially to those on a weight loss journey. So, I am pleased to read that it may be considered a superfood due to it's ability to fight Alzheimer's disease.
Any finding that celery may slow the progress of brain diseases could push it into the “superfood” bracket along with green peppers, camomile and other green vegetables that contain similar chemicals.
Celery is also high in Vitamin C, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol, has a diuretic effect, and reduces the effects of damaging free radicals.

Don't fret, there's much to do with it here and here, so pick some up today.
