Apple or Pear, Are You at Risk?

Those who store most fat in their belly exhibit an apple shaped body, while storing fat in one's hips and buttocks produces a pear shaped body.

Where an individual stores body fat can signify heart disease if it's stored around the midsection. Belly fat is different than fat found elsewhere in the body as it more readily causes blockages in arteries and heart disease.

Ask yourself which you are, apple or pear, and know whether you are at risk of heart disease. Chances are you should be exercising and eating healthy to reduce your risks.
