Take the Blindfolds Off
Yah, Jack! Sugar = carbs., so cut it out.
What is most important in fat loss?
It's simple:
Nutrition.
Fat loss is 80% diet and the rest of the equation depends on how much muscle you have.
Cut the carbs and focus on protein and fat. Substituting protein and fat for those awful carbs. teaches your body to burn it's own stored energy - FAT - for fuel instead of the carbs.
Because muscle burns fat, you should lift weights 3 - 5 times a week and perform cardiovascular activities such as power walking, running, aerobics, or biking every day (first thing) before you eat breakfast.
Here's how:
Give yourself 17 min. of aerobics before breakfast and lift later on. Or, kick start your metabolism and get everything done at once with 20 min. of weight lifting, followed by 17 min. of cardio.
Here's the quick and easy way I used to get 'er done. I would perform bicep curls, upright rows, and side raises while power walking. Or, maybe you'd rather do step-ups on your staircase while you do your biceps, upright rows, and side raises. And always throw in some push-ups for good measure.
Exercise gives you energy. Get out of bed and "Just DO IT!" You'll feel better, more energized, and a lot less tired all day.
Here is Mr. Mark Sisson on Fox news Los Angeles reiterating my common sense approach.
It's not science, it's simple. Muscle burns fat, build it! Fat is stored energy, use it!
P. S. Have a cup of coffee to help ignite your body's ability to burn fat, too.
