You're Not Lazy or Depressed, You're Not Tired Because You're Overweight...

B12 deficiency is very common and even more commonly misdiagnosed.

I remember being exceptionally tired and fatigued all the time a few years ago. Nothing I would do seemed to help. I tried resting more, exercising less, eating more, eating less, cutting carbs, and even increasing carbs., but nothing helped. No matter what I did, I was always tired, sleepy, and fatigued.

This went on for a couple years as I fought it and figured it was "all in my head." Until one day, I was going for surgery to have a lymph node removed and my anesthesiologist remarked, "do you know you are B12 deficient?" Well, "no" I said...

After that, I made an appointment with my family doctor, brought this up to him and he ordered blood work to check it. Sure enough, I was definitely B12 deficient.

Now, I receive my B12 shots every month and feel like a million bucks. I feel a huge difference in my energy level if I miss a dose or get there a few days past the date to receive the shot. My symptoms are feeling very tired, sleepy, and fatigued. I also feel mental cloudiness and forgetfulness - all dirty little reminders that I missed the day.

B12 deficiency is commonly missed by physicians because they're not trained to look for it, when in reality, it is very common: "Recent studies from the U.S. Framingham trial show one in four adults in the United States are deficient in this vitally important nutrient, and nearly half the population has suboptimal blood levels."

Here is the rundown of common symptoms:
  1. mental fogginess
  2. problems with your memory
  3. mood swings
  4. lack of motivation
  5. feelings of apathy
  6. fatigue and a lack energy
  7. muscle weakness
  8. tingling in your extremities

Check this out and get tested asap. It just might be the one thing standing in your way of the vibrant, healthy, and energetic body you have in you!
