That's right folks. There is plenty of research, including this new study, confirming that obesity leads to insulin resistance, leads to elevated sugar, triglycerides, and cholesterol levels, and causes cell death, dementia, cognitive decline, memory loss, depression, and Alzheimer's Disease.

Midlife obesity is associated with cognitive deficits and cerebral atrophy in older age.

Funny thing is that it is simple to guard against it by eating a Paleolithic diet and getting plenty of exercise play.
